An Amazing Wooden Home
It rarely gets better than this. Look what I found on Flickr. A very unusual Canadian home made of wood. Forget about those awful plastic sidings, this is how Canada used to be and there are still many gems left there. This project just shows that a wooden house is not necessarily boring. This is actually lots of fun and depending on how the materials had been sourced, it is
potentially green. Please pay attention to the lower ground floor – this is what I love about this project. It has a proper basement, making much more sense than just a concrete slab. Build taller = build greener. You actually get more room on the same footprint. It was caught on camera somewhere in Nova Scotia, Canada. Check
here for a full photostream.
