A guide to a modern and sustainable house
Shoreline Townhouse Floorplan

Shoreline Townhouses is a new residential project in Hastings by Phoenix Trinity. They’ve chosen bio-charcoal pyrolysis as their method of carbon offsetting.

Facade

How about a house that’s never been a factory unit but still looks like one? This luxury townhouse in Adelaide, Australia is a new build and every part of it screams industrial modernism.

Mushroom Tower

thought you’d like to see this. As far as eco villages go, this one is by far the most unusual. The only reason why you don’t see gnomes and unicorns on the pics is that they were busy at the time of taking these photos.
The eco village is situated just outside Kharkov (quite a [...]

Amazing Luxury Bathroom

Now to my favourite part of the house – the bathroom complex. It starts on the left from the hall with a small corridor. It leads to the WC, Russian steambath and a huge marvellous bathroom.

3D Rendering of the Red Box Design

The green project defies the laws of gravity by achieving a visual impression as if the Red Box was suspended on top of the slatted wood screens.

Kids Taking Part in Bulding the School

Glass bottle or a PET bottle, you can recycle it or reuse it in an eco-friendly house project.

The Grid Exposed

A Spanish Retreat for Two

Try to “communicate” with the stone before using it for building to find out if it will make a positive material. If it had been used as a sacred stone by the ancestors, it is unlikely it will “want” to become a part of your project.

Green Home Plan

Have you ever wondered what’s inside an eco tiny house? Well, not much really. The average size of a prefab tiny house is 15 by 20 ft but they somehow manage to fit in a decent size room, a kitchenette and a shower room.

Before Renovation

I like the way the hallway divides this barn conversion on an East-West axis. This a clever balance of a day zone and a night zone. The living room and kitchen/diner are situated along the South wall enjoying the sunny terrace and garden.

Original Layout

Please check the pic to see how I’ve re-planned this. Look at those two curvy surfaces you get down the hallway. I bet you’d love to decorate it.
