Cave House in Spain – Apartment

Cave house is another way of green living for those who don’t mind and don’t have claustrophobia. However, looking at this property marketed by Rusticom, you’ll see that not all cave houses are crammed and dark. This is a semi-cave house because the main part of it protrudes. The back of the property is integrated into the rock.

It is mainly open plan and the fact that the back wall is cooled by the rock, it will never be too hot in summer. As you see, the apartment gets plenty of natural sunlight. Look at the terracotta tiles and the recycled wood kitchen worktops. Next time you shop around for synthetic or marble kitchen worktops, think if you really need that.
