Demand for Green Kitchens

Wood Looks Great in the Kitchen

Wood Looks Great in the Kitchen

According to the UK Energy Saving Trust the Brits are keen on green kitchens. An independent survey, which asked 1,895 respondents in the UK what their must-have feature in their kitchen in 2040 would be, showed that the majority of people are aware about environmental issues and are ready to embrace organic cooking and recycled materials.

2040 really is a far-fetched point in time, however, it is understood that a certain number of the respondents are ready to greenify their kitchens within the next couple of years. There are many things you can do to make your kitchen greener. Choosing more efficient appliances and white goods and getting rid of the synthetic worktops in favour of reclaimed wood ones are just a few examples.

The Energy Saving Trust is warning the architects and interior designers about an expected surge in green refurbishment commissions.

I think the recycled look actually looks pretty professional and custom while helping with the environmental issues.
