Recycled Glass Tiles for a Bathroom

Found this amazing bathroom design idea here and could not resist temptation of snatching it. You can see how organically the green recycled glass tiles work with the rough green wall. The creamy vintage-style sink balances it all out perfectly and makes sure the interior is not too dark.

Recycled glass tiles is a wonderful material. You can get all sorts of patterns and textures. Besides, as it is recycled, its surface is not perfect – something that makes those tiles look more natural. Because recycled tiles are hand-made, they are generally not cheap. You can expect to pay anything between £4 to £40 for a single tile. But then, good quality tiles are rather expensive – even the mainstream ones.

Check the details on this picture: the natural wood and the iron stool gives it a real air of vintage. The only thing I would probably change is the skirting board. I don’t think that monochrome works here. A different shade of green or natural wood would be much better.

  1. The tiles look wonderful there. The room is both literally and figuratively green.

Yeah, that’s about as green as it gets!

You know what I love about green? For me green makes the house cozy and cool. I use green curtains in my house. Even the tablecloth and the walls. I love it!
